This year's fundraiser will feature Dionne Warwick's life and career in a one on one interview by Queen Latifah. An Evening with Dionne Warwick will be held on Thursday, November 15th at the Field Museum in Chicago. Attendees will be able to witness this interview first hand. Dionne Warwick Over an illustrious career that has spanned close to four decades, Dionne Warwick has established herself as an international household name. Dionne received her first of five Grammy Awards in 1968 for the classic "Do You Know The Way To San Jose." She was also the first African American female performer to appear before the Queen of England at the Royal Command Performance that same year. More recently, Dionne's pioneering efforts have focused on the fight against AIDS, and her Grammy-winning single "That's What Friends Are For" raised millions for AIDS research. Dionne has devoted countless hours to a wide range of humanitarian causes, serving as the U.S. Ambassador for Health throughout the Eighties. Today, Dionne is spearheading the long overdue development of a National African American Museum in Washington, D.C. Queen Latifah Grammy Award-winning recording artist and star of television
