About Us

On Tuesday, February 26th, The HistoryMakers, the Chicago Cultural Center, AT&T Broadband and Illinois Humanities Council presented Three Artists, Three Lives, Three Stories. 300 people were in attendance at the Chicago Cultural Center to hear the life stories of Dawoud Bey, Richard Hunt and Allen Stringfellow. Moderated by one of our HistoryMakers', Bill Campbell of ABC 7 Chicago, Three Artists, Three Lives, Three Stories was sponsored by the John Nuveen Company. Carson Pirie Scott also designed a wonderful display to promote the event. A special thanks to those sponsors as well as Joan Small and Cynthia Quick of the Chicago Cultural Center. Also, a special thanks to Madeline Murphy Rabb, for serving as the project consultant on a pro bono basis.
